By Harrison Woodard
When the enemy surrounds you,
And there are no allies in sight.
When defeat looks certain,
Maybe, this very night,
Stand Firm.
When friends no longer care,
All your loved ones have gone away.
When your faith has been pushed to its limit,
And you can’t last another day.
Stand Firm.
When disease attacks your body,
And the doctors say there’s no way.
When life seems like it’s almost done,
And it hurts to even pray.
Stand Firm.
When Satan whispers in your ear,
“What’s the point in living?
Maybe you should end your life,
Don’t waste your time believing.”
Stand Firm.
God has delivered you!
By Harrison Woodard
What if Noah said it couldn’t be true,
And told God he didn’t believe?
If Noah ignored God’s instructions,
Where would mankind be?
What if Noah had been lazy?
And the storm clouds covered the sun.
If the ark had not been completed,
Would God have saved anyone?
####
What if Abraham had not said,
That God Himself would be given?
Without that final sacrifice,
Would we ever be forgiven?
What if Abraham had refused,
To sacrifice his promised son?
Had he not honored his covenant with God,
Would Jesus have ever come?
####
What if Mary had no faith,
And told Gabriel she didn’t believe.
When she heard the Word of God,
She just couldn’t agree.
What if she let fear and doubt,
Rob us all of God’s Holy Son.
What if Mary said, “No”?
What would God have done?
####
But thank God all these saints,
Had the faith to agree.
They obeyed the Word of God.
Changed the world and set us free.
Now ask yourself this question,
Would you be faithful and true?
When God comes calling,
Can He count on you?
By Harrison Woodard
There was no rain
The earth was dry
“What will we do?”
The flock did cry.
One lone voice
With wisdom from on high
Said, “Follow me and see,
God’s deliverance is nigh.
####
But Rockwell was no prophet
The smallest of his flock
“What do you know?”
The others did mock.
But Rockwell was true
And obeyed to the end
He would fly east
There will, he could not bend.
####
God gave them food
And a miracle spring
The flock flourished
Often, they would sing.
There was one more point
In this happy tale
God used Rockwell’s flock
To serve Elijah well
####
Who will pray for the rain?
To save the dying land
Elijah had the faith
To move God’s mighty hand
Who will feed Elijah?
A prophet to sustain
God sent a small raven
And Rockwell was his name.

Jump
out of bed and welcome the day
This is the day that the Lord has made
Come on everyone shout for joy and say,
God made today.
Knock
on the door, its fear dropping by
Worry
on the phone, just to say ‘hi’
With God by your side, send them all away,
God made today.
Later
that night, I’m tucked in my bed
Big
fluffy pillow, under my head
Can’t go to sleep before I bow and pray,
God made today.
Let every living thing praise our King, and sing,
God made today.

From the largest whale, to the smallest snail
God protects them all.
If God loves all the animals,
Why wouldn’t he love me?
From the birds up high, to the ants below
God provides for them all.
If God loves all the animals,
He must also love me.
From the fish in the sea, to you and me
God loves one and all.
If God loves all the animals,
I know He loves me!
Ask the animals and they will teach you
All the wonders of the world.
Ask the animals and they will tell you
Of God’s power and His love.

Hollis was a fish
The ocean was his home.
He swam in the surf
And splashed in the foam.
God made him grow
Bigger than all the rest.
He scared the other fish
And didn’t pass their test.
####
Hollis was sad and alone
But what he didn’t know.
God had a plan for him
That’s why he had to grow.
God said, “Do what I say
And you will not be sad.
Serving me faithfully
Will always make you glad.”
####
A man named Jonah
From God had turned away.
Hollis would be the instrument
And God would have His way
Fleeing on a ship
Tossed upon the sea.
Jonah was thrown overboard
From God you cannot flee.
####
Jonah sank in the water
Doomed by his foolish sin.
But God sent Hollis
His new life to begin.
Hollis swallowed Jonah
And did what God did say.
Inside, Jonah repented
Agreeing to go God’s way.
####
There was no magic spell
Or someone’s crazy wish.
Only God’s mighty power
Could make this great big fish.
Humongous Hollis,
That was his name.
God gave him a job to do
And He didn’t complain.

Once there was a little lamb
With fleece completely white
She left to visit Bethlehem
In the middle of the night.
A baby had been born
Announced the heavenly throng,
“Come see the new King
And join our joyful song!”
####
Kirsi trotted into the dark
She had to see this sight
God’s Son was here on earth
Here, to provide us light.
Bravely facing peril
Friend and foe alike
Kirsi made it to Bethlehem
Where was the Holy tike?
####
Kneeling at a distance
Outside the cold stable
Kirsi meekly waited,
“Would she be able?”
Mary saw the little lamb
And bid her come near
“Come see Baby Jesus
There’s nothing to fear.”
####
Where are you going?
What do you want to see?
Are you looking for Jesus
Like Kirsi and me?

God gives us abundance, to share.
God gives us love, to care.
God gives us peace, not despair.
God gives us hope, in prayer.
God gives us faith, to dare.
God gives us His Spirit. He’s always there!
